Description

These 2-1/2 x 2-1/2 x 36" edge protectors are built to a .225" wall thickness, placing them firmly in the heavy duty category. That gauge resists compression under polyester and steel strapping tension and holds its profile under stacking pressure where standard-gauge protectors would deform or fail. The 36-inch length covers full pallet column edges and elongated loads including lumber, pipe, and bundled profiles.

Operations in warehousing, distribution, manufacturing, and building materials rely on this gauge to prevent strap cut-through on corrugated cartons, stabilize unitized pallet loads wrapped with stretch film, and provide vertical column strength under rack storage conditions. They also function as internal bracing inside large export cartons to resist sidewall collapse during long-haul transit.

Each case contains 55 edge protectors. The protectors are compatible with both polyester strapping and steel banding systems and require no special tooling to apply. Cases ship via parcel carrier.
