This smooth black polyester strapping measures 5/8" wide by 4,200 feet long, wound on a 16 x 6" core at 0.035" thickness. The smooth surface finish is compatible with both manual tensioners and powered strapping equipment, and works with serrated or sandpaper seals for a secure cinch on medium- and heavy-duty loads.
Polyester's elasticity allows it to maintain strap tension longer than polypropylene, making it a reliable choice for loads that settle or compress during transit. Distribution centers, manufacturers, building material suppliers, and freight consolidators rely on it for bundling, unitizing, and pallet securing where load integrity over long hauls is critical.
Unlike steel strapping, polyester is non-corrosive, will not rust, and poses no risk of staining or cutting load surfaces — reducing both product damage and handling hazards. Each unit is a single coil weighing approximately 53.5 lbs and ships via parcel carrier.
