3M™ 4926 VHB™ (Very High Bond) Tape is a 15 mil dark gray acrylic foam tape with acrylic adhesive on both sides and a kraft paper liner. Engineered to replace or supplement mechanical fasteners — including rivets, screws, spot-welds, and liquid adhesives — it delivers a structural bond that distributes stress evenly across the bonded surface rather than concentrating it at fixed points.

The conformable foam core accommodates irregular and mixed-substrate surfaces, making it well suited for truck and trailer panel assembly, attachment of wiring ducts and conduit channels, bonding pre-painted metals, and component mounting in electronics and architectural glazing applications. Its resistance to moisture, solvents, and UV exposure supports both indoor and outdoor end uses.

The tape carries a UL746C listing and is rated for continuous service from -40°F to 200°F. This size — 1/2" wide by 5 yards long — is sold as a single roll and ships via parcel carrier.
