Central® 250 Reinforced Water Activated Tape is a fiberglass-reinforced kraft tape engineered for permanent, tamper-evident carton sealing. Fiberglass yarns bonded between two kraft paper sheets create a structure that resists tearing and delivers high tensile strength across seams, corners, and irregular box surfaces — performance that pressure-sensitive tapes cannot match on corrugated substrates.
The patented starch-based adhesive activates on contact with water and bonds directly into the corrugated surface, making it well suited for high-volume sealing in warehousing, e-commerce fulfillment, manufacturing, and cold-storage distribution where temperature swings and freight handling demand a seal that will not fail in transit.
From a sustainability standpoint, the fiberglass yarn separates cleanly during repulping, allowing the kraft carrier to enter standard recycling streams. Each case contains 10 rolls. Compatible water-activated tape dispensers are available separately for high-throughput sealing lines.
