3M Paper Masking Tape 2214 is a 5.2 mil crepe paper tape with a rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesive, engineered for general-purpose holding, sealing, bundling, and non-critical masking tasks. The crepe construction gives each roll natural conformability, allowing it to follow corners, curves, and irregular edges without tearing or losing bond.
This tape is well suited to paint preparation, light bundling, and surface protection in manufacturing lines, paint booths, drying ovens, and general warehouse environments. Its 150°F/30-minute temperature rating supports moderate-heat applications where standard utility tapes fall short.
Each roll measures 3 inches wide by 60 yards long and carries a 5.2 mil total thickness. The tape removes cleanly from most surfaces when used within recommended time and temperature parameters. Cases contain 12 rolls and ship via parcel carrier.
