3M™ 9579 is a 9.0 mil repositionable polyethylene double sided film tape designed for temporary bonding applications where clean removal is a priority. Its hand-tearable construction eliminates the need for a cutting tool during application, and the repositionable adhesive system allows one-piece removal from most surfaces without leaving residue behind.
This tape is well suited for temporary mounting, part positioning, splicing, and light fabrication work across electronics assembly, signage production, print finishing, and general industrial environments. Adhesion to metals, plastics, and glass makes it versatile across substrate types encountered in production and distribution settings.
Each roll is wound on a 3" core and performs optimally when applied at temperatures between 70°F and 100°F. Very good shear holding power maintains bond integrity throughout the intended use period. Cases contain 72 rolls and ship via parcel carrier.
